"And we'll never be Royals" sings the fantastic Lorde!! But you may ask what am I talking about??
Well At Enrich today we rotated around three stations and the one I quite liked was one about Scholarly Habits with Nicola!! We got a sheet with all the scholarly habits on it. Some examples of them are excellence, saving ideas and curiosity there are 8 more as well. Anyway we watched a video about Lorde's music teacher talking all about Ella (Ella is Lorde's real name incase you don't know).
As we watched the video we ticked of the scholarly habits that Lorde used. She used all 11 of them!! I will give you an example of one. Academic Humility: Lorde used this because when she was younger she got a lead role in a play and she didn't go and brag in front of the others in the play, but she played her role really well by being confident and loud and she probably just wanted to make the play the best it could be!!
Then after doing that we had to tick off our own Scholarly habits of what we did and we had to give an example, mine was. Goal Setting: I used goal setting at the start of every year and one of my goals is to go on the X-Factor when I am 14!!
This lesson really helped me to learn my Scholarly Habits and I found it really interesting!!
Hello everyone!! I am Lucy and I am a year 6, so it is my final year at Enrich!! What is Enrich?? Enrich is a school for gifted people. At Enrich we have four domains; they are Conceptual Development, Mental Edge, Personal Development and Talent Development. At Enrich this year I want to make a really cool passion project particularly as its my last year!!

Open Questions!!
Do you ask open or closed questions?? To be able to answer that you might want to know what they are..... This morning at Enrich we have been learning about open and closed questions, a closed question is when the answer is one word and a open question is when the answer can be long.
So we had to buddy up with someone I budded up with Rhylee and what we had to do is ask them 10 open questions!! So it was like an interview to find out more about your class mates.
My favourite question was
Lucy: Describe a time when you felt like you would burst into tears you were so happy??
Rhylee: When my parents told me we were going to Fiji in four days!!
So I learned two things today. More about Rhylee and how to write open questions!!
So I'll see you on my next blog.

I love the world ending???
Hello!! I have loved the start of Enrich this year and today has been really fun!!
We got put into groups last week and are rotating around doing Thinker's Keys!! Last week I did the Invention Key with Paul and this week I did the Personal Key with Nicola.
We made a list of things that we worried about, and things we would wish to happen..... why don't I just show mine?......
1. I wish that I had a pet puppy.
2. I hope to travel the world when I am older.
3. I never want to die.
4. I am worried about the world ending.
5. I want to become famous.
6. I love to sing, dance and act.
7. I want to see the world.
8. I enjoy going swimming.
9. I get upset when a sad song plays that brings up sad memories.
10. I aways have a shower every one or two nights.
11. I might have a milo when I get home.
12. I promise to aways try my very best.
13. I have to feed my cat.
14. I used to do piano lessons every Monday.
15. I am happy about my family and my life.
After that we switched number 4 and 6 around so it says..... I am worried about singing, dancing and acting AND I love the world ending!!!
I really enjoyed doing this because I love to answer those kind of questions and think about my life.

Our last practice!!
Today is our LAST practice!!!! said Nicola. Today the Singing 201 group had their last practice of our songs for performing on the streets. We are doing five songs and I have two solos in Deck The Halls (and I am very excited). We did this practice outside, so we knew how loud we had to be.
Hopefully next week comes around fast!!

Safety First!
Hey everyone!! Today was one of those days when I didn't do too much but I still learn't some new things.
Singing 201
Today for singing we were Nicola's little hamsters because we were helping her try out some new backing for the christmas carols. There was one that I liked very much because it was my favourite kind of music, the song was called 'Joy To The World'. I also liked the backings for 'We Wish You A Merry Christmas', and 'Deck The Halls'. So at the end of the session I learn't new backings for Christmas songs.
Digital citizenship
Who had no idea what I just said?? I had no idea what that meant at the start of today but now I do!! Digital citizenship means Internet safety. If you still don't know what I am talking about, it means nowadays before you are born and you are still in your Mums tummy, that's when people can start to track you by the Internet. Because say if you get your baby picture of when you are in your Mums tummy your Mum could post it on maybe Facebook and say this is my son/daughter in my tummy, they will be born whenever. Also your parents could keep posting pictures of you of when you were little. Or like for example you were going away you were in togs and you were on your front lawn and your parents took a picture and you could see the street sign in the backround. Then the parents post that picture on Facebook and say going away on holiday!! Another Facebook account could see what street you live on and could go to your house and steel things because they know your away. So I learn't in this lesson to stay safe on the Internet and make sure your posts are safe.
