Mixed Emotions!

I have no idea how I'm feeling! I don't know if I'm excited or sad, because guess what? THIS IS MY LAST BLOG POST! As a year six unfortunately I have to go to high school and leave Enrich :(

Paul had some very exciting news for us. Katie has had her baby!! She named it Pippa and it was born on 29 of November! We did a chart a couple weeks ago and we all guessed Katie's baby's name, date of birth, weight and gender. The winner was the person who got the closest to all the information and they won a box of Favourites chocolates and guess who the winner was ?.... ME!!  Then we did some reflecting! We had to write down four things we'd learnt this year. My four were chess, performance,  thinkers keys and Ancestry.
After morning tea we had (drum roll please) ENRICH HAS TALENT!! I was in the performance group and we performed Santa Claus Is Coming To Town by Mariah Carey! There were a couple other performances, but once we had that all wrapped up we finished off our year six slides.

Now for my favourite part of the day.... We had a shared lunch! After munching on yummy food the music went on, and here I am now typing up my last blog ever!!

I have learn
t so much over the last three years at Enrich, and I have always looked forward to going. I will miss Enrich heaps!!

Performance is back!

Hi!
I am very happy!! Seeing Nicola can't be at Enrich@ILT I thought we wouldn't be doing Performance anymore (which I was very upset about). Anyway Ginny is now doing Performance!

We got spilt into three groups, we could either choose Art, Performance or Engineering. Anyway of course I am doing Performance, and today we showed Ginny some of our songs from last year, then we learned a Christmas song. We made up a dance to Mariah Carey "Santa Claus is coming to town" and "All I want for Christmas is you"!  We might be performing Santa Claus is coming to town next week to the rest of the class.

I can't wait till next week!

Last day with Katie teaching!!

Hi everyone! I am just going to give you a quick review of my day!
This is the last day Katie will ever teach me seeing she's going on maternity leave and I'm leaving at the end of the day!
Anyway we started of with brain boosters and I did sumo cubes. I am not really good with making shapes and things so I got very frustrated but in the end I made a cube and a couch!
Then we did thinking on your feet. I got to do one of my favourites, debating!!! The subject was "there should be only 25 students in a class per teacher''. My team was against that. In the end it was a tie and surprisingly there was not much shouting.
After morning tea we did newspaper and I am so glad to be done both my articles! Be sure to pick up a copy once its published because its guaranteed to be amazing!!!!
